About Us

OTMT subscribes to the values of human dignity, equality, integrity, tolerance, respect, commitment and transparency. Mission of Our Home and the Monuments The institution will achieve this by living its values and pursuing sound governance, and being recognized locally, nationally relevant. The mission consists of the following elements:

Self-reliant Care

To provide elderly people with self-reliant care in the community for as long as possible and provide support services to them.

Safe and Affordable Housing

Providing safe and affordable housing in the form of apartments or rooms where the elderly can function independently as long as possible, and provide services to them.

Relatives Involvement

To involve children and relatives of the elderly as closely as possible in the care of the elderly and the provision in the unique needs of the elderly.

Help For The Weakened

To partially or partially care for the elderly who physically or mentally weakened.

Assistance And Care

To assist and care for disabled people and to show the same empathy to them as to the elderly.

Warm Home

We provide elderly people with a warm home to live, not a cold institution to stay.

Community Involvement

All the homes won OTMT is privileged to care for people’s care – caring for the residents, first and foremost, and then caring for the continuation of the work done in the homes and service centers. This care is expressed in different ways.

Thus, there are NHSV (Dutch Reformed Church Sisters Association) branches that are shared as guardians at the various homes. These branches undertake to bring a monthly visit to the specific hostel and provide residents with snapshots. Often homes can be hired at NHSVs for additional assistance.

The different congregations, of all denominations, in which the homes are located, play a major role in the well-being of the inhabitants. Bible studies, worship and charity visits take place regularly.

The schools in the immediate vicinity of the homes’ involvement make a great contribution to making the lives of residents enjoyable. Games are offered by the children and visits are made.

We would like to invite all interested parties to become part of the big “family” involved in the well-being of our residents. Please contact us for more information.

Sponsors

Due to the shortening of subsidies and the ever-rising living costs, our homes are largely dependent on sponsors, donations and commissions.

We acknowledge these contributions with thanks:
